Adult Opportunities

Wednesday Night Delight: Come and eat supper in the Fellowship Hall on Wednesday night at 5:00 pm.  This is an opportunity to enjoy good food and fellowship.  The cost is $10.00 for adults, $5.00 for children 3-11.  Children 2 years old and under eat free. Family plan is $30.00

Aerobics Class: Susie Bell leads an exercise class on Tuesday and Thursday at 5:30 pm in our Fellowship Hall.

Friendship Club:  On the second Monday of each month we welcome those in their golden years to socialize with games followed by a delicious lunch prepared by different Demopolis Methodist Women circles.

United Methodist Men’s Club: Meetings are on the second Sunday every month.  The men meet at 8:00 am for a delicious breakfast, which is followed by a guest speaker.

Demopolis Methodist Women: We have a very active D.M.W with several circles that meet separately once a month.  The organized unit of Demopolis Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose Purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole person through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

SALT of Demopolis: SALT is a respite ministry for caregivers of those diagnosed with Dementia and or Alzheimer’s disease. SALT stands for Senior Adults Living Triumphantly and is directed by Angela Lewis. Volunteers from the church and the surrounding community make this ministry possible.
